A photo of General Withers being presented with a sword by the French CDS, General Jeannou Lacaze, on his official visit to France in April 1981. The sword currently serves as the Commanding Officer's sword at 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group Headquarters and Signal Squadron.
