Vehicles are offloaded from LST 159 onto a Rhino Ferry off the beaches of Normandy, 6 or 7 June 1944.

LST 159 carried Landing Table Identification Number (LTIN) 1741 bound for NAN BEACH. Pictured at left front and middle are portions of 3rd Canadian Anti-Tank Regiment. Back left and front right are M14 Half-tracks which, according to the landing tables, had to belong to 3 Canadian Divisional Signals, 2 Canadian Armoured Brigade Signals or 1 Corps Signals as those are the only units onboard with that type of vehicle.
