The Fort Petrie Military Museum Monument is located in New Victoria Nova Scotia at the site of a Second World War coastal defence installation. It consists of a stone pillar affixed with three plaques dedicated to those from Sydney who participated in protecting shipping on the North Atlantic, those from New Waterford and surrounding area who served in war and peace time and to the members of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals who died while serving their country.[1]
