The Wireless Telegraph Set Trench CW Mk III was a set used for forward area communications. The set could operate in Continuous Wave (C.W.) mode or Tonic Train, also known as interrupted CW (ICW). A Complete station consisted of a CW Receiver Mk III, a CW Transmitter Mk III, a selector unit, a Heterodyne Wavementer Mk I, a Unit HT W/T 30 watt (or similar).[1]
