Experimental Army Signal Establishment was authorized as a unit of the Regular Army effective 24 July 1961[1].

In 1962, No. 1 Army Signal Squadron was relocated from Ottawa to Carp ON effective 6 Mar 1963[2]. The unit was attached to EASE for all purposes and included the sub-units of Carp Signal Troop and Richardson Signal Troop while Ottawa Signal Troop was not attached to EASE.

The Experimental Army Signal Establishment was redesignated Canadian Forces Station Carp 27 May 1968[3].
